As part of a part of a multiplatform Hispanic marketing initiative coinciding with the Sept. 15 start of Hispanic Heritage Month, NASCAR launches the program 'Bienvenidos a NASCAR' which is geared towards increasing Hispanic fan attendance and enhancing the overall at-track experience for Hispanic attendees.

Chicagoland Speedway will offer Hispanic fans special ticket plans to its NASCAR races from September 16-18, including the Chase-opening Geico 400. Hispanic fans interested in attending the triple-header weekend can visit www.chicagolandspeedway.com/bienvenidos.

In addition, the 'Bienvenidos a NASCAR' program will include Spanish-language television and radio advertisements in the Chicago-area market; 'Bienvenidos a NASCAR' signage at tracks, including one painted on Chicagoland's Turn 1 wall.

Television and radio advertisements will debut on different TV Networks and feature Latin American drivers Juan Pablo Montoya, Aric Almirola, Miguel Paludo, Sergio Peña and team investor Felix Sabates. Advertisements will focus on the spectacle of races, the ability to make the experience a family event, and the speed, energy and emotion of the sport.

NASCAR will kick off the initiative in Chicago leading up to the Sprint Cup race on September 18, with similar activations in Phoenix and Miami in November. NASCAR plans to continue efforts in 2012 at tracks in key markets with large Hispanic populations, including Texas, California, Las Vegas and Charlotte.
